Friday, March 13 – Thursday, March 19

In order to help limit the spread of COVID-19 some exhibitors have cancelled or postponed screenings, and more will likely follow suit. For the first time in the history of Celluloid Chicago we cannot in good conscience encourage people to go to public screenings. However we will continue to update this list so it can serve, as it has for nearly a decade, as a record of exhibition history.

We also recognize that the choice to close or cancel screenings during this time is very difficult one to make for organizations that revolve around communal movie-going. Below is a list of film-capable organizations who have postponed or cancelled screenings along with (when available) links to pages where you can donate or buy memberships. Support these places if you can and hopefully we’ll all be at the movies together again soon!

Note: Reopening dates are subject to change!
